Who operates GetTall

Prime Adventure LLC operates the GetTall mobile app and is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. GetTall provides educational growth estimates, tracking and general wellness support. It is not a medical diagnosis or a substitute for a qualified clinician.

Information you provide

Depending on the features you use, GetTall processes:

• account information, such as an email address or Apple sign-in identifier, or an automatically created anonymous account identifier;
• growth profile information, including date of birth, height reference, current and historical height measurements, biological parent heights, goal height, selected growth reference, ethnic background and puberty-timing answers;
• wellness information, including movement completions, sleep duration and quality, meal records, food and nutrient estimates, meal scores and check-ins;
• questions you send to the GetTall AI coach and product feedback you choose to submit;
• preferences such as language, measurement units, time zone and reminder settings; and
• subscription and transaction identifiers supplied by Apple or Google. GetTall does not receive your full payment-card number.

Meal photos

When you choose to scan a meal, the selected photo is sent through GetTall's protected analysis service to identify visible foods and estimate portions. The photo is used for that request and is not added to your saved meal log or persistent GetTall storage. The resulting food names, estimated nutrients, uncertainty ranges and meal score may be saved to your account. Do not include faces, documents or other identifying information in a meal photo.

Optional ethnic background

If you choose to provide an ethnic background, GetTall retains it with the growth profile to evaluate model calibration and fairness across groups. It is not used to alter the current individual height estimate, and it is excluded from product-event analytics. You may select Prefer not to say.

Information collected to operate the app

GetTall may process an internal user identifier, app installation identifier, platform, locale, time zone, push token and service-request metadata to authenticate requests, sync data, deliver requested reminders, prevent abuse and diagnose failures. Native crash reports may include a stack trace, app version and coarse device or operating-system details. GetTall does not attach an account user ID, height, birth date, meal, photo, Coach message or other product content to a crash report. Subscription verification records may include product, transaction and expiry information returned by Apple or Google.

Product measurement is limited to coarse screen, funnel and feature events. GetTall's event contract blocks raw height, weight, birth date, ethnic background, puberty, nutrition, sleep, meal photos, account identifiers and free text from analytics properties.

How GetTall uses information

GetTall uses this information to:

• create and update height estimates, ranges and growth-history views;
• sync the profile across signed-in devices;
• provide meal analysis, daily plans, reminders and AI-coach responses;
• verify subscriptions and restore paid access;
• protect the service, enforce usage limits and troubleshoot problems;
• review product feedback;
• understand aggregate feature performance without putting raw growth or health data in analytics events; and
• evaluate forecast calibration and fairness when optional background data and later measured outcomes are available.

GetTall does not sell personal information. GetTall does not use height, puberty, meal, sleep or other growth and wellness data to personalize advertising.

Service providers

GetTall uses service providers only to perform app functions. These currently include Supabase for authentication, database storage and server functions; Google Cloud for the height-forecast service; OpenAI for meal-image analysis and AI-coach processing with request storage disabled; Expo for push-notification delivery; Firebase Crashlytics for privacy-limited native crash diagnosis; USDA FoodData Central for food-composition references; and Apple or Google for purchases and subscription verification. Each provider processes only the information needed for its role and under its own security and privacy obligations.

Storage, security and international processing

Connected product records are protected by account-scoped access controls. Sensitive service credentials are kept on servers and are not shipped in the app. Data may be processed in the United States or other locations where GetTall and its service providers operate. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but GetTall uses transport encryption, authenticated service calls and least-privilege database rules to reduce risk.

Retention and deletion

Product data is kept while the account is active so GetTall can provide longitudinal tracking. You can delete the GetTall account and associated product data from You → Privacy & data → Delete GetTall account and data. The account deletion page provides the complete instructions and data-retention details. In connected mode this request deletes the server account and owned growth records, then clears the device. If connected deletion fails, the app keeps the local data so you can retry rather than pretending deletion succeeded.

Deleting GetTall data does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Manage billing through the store that processed the purchase. Limited transaction, security or legal records may be retained when required for fraud prevention, accounting, disputes or law.

Children and parent-managed profiles

GetTall is designed for teens and for parents or caregivers tracking one child. A child under 13 must not create or operate an independent GetTall account. A parent or legal guardian must create and control the profile. Users ages 13 to 17 may use prediction and local tracking, but GetTall requires a parent or legal guardian to approve remote AI before a new AI Coach question or Meal Scan photo is sent to OpenAI. This approval is recorded with its version and time and can be withdrawn from You → Privacy & data → Remote AI access. After withdrawal, new remote AI requests are blocked. GetTall does not knowingly use a child's growth or health information for advertising. If you believe a child supplied information without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can investigate and delete it.

Your choices and rights

You can choose whether to scan a meal, enable notifications or answer optional profile questions. You can review measurements, correct or delete height entries, change preferences and delete the account in the app. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a copy of personal information. Email the address below to make a request. We may need to verify that you control the relevant account.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as GetTall changes. The effective date above will change when the policy is revised. We will provide additional notice in the app when a material change requires it.
